Sheltered Foundations of Algebra

Course Description:

Foundations of Algebra establishes core understandings necessary to succeed in Algebra. Besides exposing students to content-specific language, the push-in ESL teacher will be collaborating with the math teacher to develop algebraic thinking. Modifying assignments, scaffolding lessons, and accommodating for our English Language Learners will ensure development and engagement in mathematics.
